It’s about keeping the endpoint and the network safe. The added visibility security teams gather
from endpoint detection and response capabilities helps control and put a stop to any and all
malicious activity occurring across the entire organization.

Corporate and Government Employees
Today’s sophisticated cyber attacker needs only one opportunity to infiltrate a company’s systems --
one employee to click on a bogus link or a single weak and easily cracked password will give them
access to all kinds of important and valuable company data.

October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM), and this year’s NCSAM theme —
“Our Shared Responsibility” — proves true. No one wants to be “that guy” who clicked on the email
offering free tickets to a cruise that ended up being a gateway to a data breach, but you also don’t
want your co-worker a few desks over from you to be that guy either.

Understanding safe cyber habits and practicing them every day is the responsibility of everyone, not
just the IT team.
