Fortunately, automated, machine speed response is now more surgical, non-invasive and accurate
than most IT owners are aware. Adding its highly granular policy capabilities makes judicial
application even easier and more powerful.
Automated response can be deployed at a rate and scale to fit organizational restrictions and
comfort levels, with built-in next steps as restrictions and comfort levels evolve. It’s all about taking
controlled but definitive steps towards the removal of alert overload and the reduction of
compromising attacks.
Targeted attacks, ransomware and other sophisticated malware are our reality forever. Extreme
manual remediation after the fact (think of rebuilding servers, reimaging computers, and hoping) is
also a reality without automation. With today’s technologies, it’s the cybercriminal that’s wreaking
havoc across the organization, not automated responses.
If you’re interested in learning more about advanced technologies that can help save your company
from being the next big breach, consider an approach focused on integrated detection and
automated response.
