By doing these three basic things, you can make it more challenging for threat actors to gain access to
your environment. We often get so caught up in the newest zero-day or newest technology fad that we
forget threat actors use basic attacks the most. Verizon reported that 74% of all security incidents started
with the person – whether that was social engineering, credential stuffing, or otherwise. By ensuring you
are doing the basics correctly, you can focus on more important things – like maybe making sure you’re
actually using that gym membership you signed up for.
