for their financial benefits.

Online Identity Theft: Statistics
As per study on Identity Fraud Study 2017 conducted by ‘Javelin Strategy & Research’, about
$16 billion was stolen from 15.4 million U.S. consumers in 2016 while $15.3 billion was stolen
from 13.1 million victims in 2015.
