The good news, is that all of this is in progress. It is a huge, important problem that requires a
hefty, intelligently designed solution, and tech companies are now putting serious resources into
the efforts to protect both consumers and companies from data breaches and misuse. Personal
data privacy is a business space to watch, and a personal issue to stay on top of. My advice is
to watch for new privacy solutions, employ the best practices and tools as they become
available, and be diligent in your distribution of personal information.
